Jacob took on the challenge, and achieved his goal of riding 100 Miles of Nowhere! I am so proud of his efforts to support cancer research along with his own drive to become healthier and improve his own physical fitness. He has certainly taken on this challenge with a passion. He started cycling only a few short weeks ago and has already tackled such a huge milestone.
He started out his ride at 4am with 63 degrees ambient air temp. When he finished his ride nearly 7 hours later, the temperature had climbed to a sweltering 93 degrees with the heat of the asphalt reflecting back up from below his feet while the sun beat down from above. The last two hours were greuling but he continued on to finish the ride. Hooray Jacob!
