Yum!

These taste so good! They are peach cupcakes and have little cubes of peach backed inside the cake, too. That is a sweet cream topping with a slice of peach. Okay, so I'm not creative enough on culinary skills to come up with this combo on my own. The recipe was in a Martha Stewart Living magazine.

These sugar cookies are the cutest! Lori Crockett made these cookies for our RS class...celebrate August birthdays. Everyone was delighted with this sweet treat. :)

I also made a couple loaves of zucchini bread. Busy morning. :)

Dance Recital

TJei's dance recital was today and she was so excited to be able to perform on the high school stage! Her adorable little costume was stitched together by our family friend, Lori Crockett, because Grandma was out of town when we learned about needing it for a dress rehearsal. Her Mommy got together the materials and Lori did the sewing...and did a great job of it, too!

The little apron she's wearing is one Jodie got for her while visiting a farmer's market in the valley. TJei has had it for a couple years now and she just loves it. I think I'll be using it to pattern aprons for all the other little girls.

TJei is taking beginning ballet claasses with Joelle Hauser and she just loves being in that class. TJei's good friend and neighbor, Maryn is also taking classes but is in pre-ballet so they aren't in the same class. They're both excited to be performing together.

This year, Joelle has choreographed the stage show Annie for the dance recital and it was so entertaining although I missed TJei's "leap" during her time on-stage.

Mia had to take a bow on the stage, too. :) Love you sugar.

It was so much fun!~ Thanks to Lori for attending with me, too! I sure appreciate all you do for us.
